Skydiving – a new adventure in Pokhara.

Pokhara, city of lakes and mountains, ain't just been growing as a transit to Annapurna trek but also emerging as a city of adrenaline activities. Paragliding, hot air balloon, canoeing, zip flyer, bungee, etc was the options of adventurists in the past, however, with the addition of ski diving the charm of adventure has escalated more than before. Skydiving in Pokhara is indeed an incomparable experience, as it ain't just jumping off the helicopter to experience the free fall of 15 seconds but also imbibing the nature with the background view of magnificent mount Fishtail aka Machhapuchhre and fresh water lake, Phewa. According to a member of the tourism board, "This new adventure will help to make the tourism year 2020 successful as well as it will increase the length of stay of tourists in Pokhara". He further added, "Skydiving will be a milestone to publicize Pokhara as the land of adventure activities".
Sky diving had been tested in Pokhara since 2008, however, due to a lack of experts and its high cost, it wasn't successful as expected. The company named, Kathmandu Explore Himalaya has now commercially started this adventure.
