Cancellation Policy
Clear rules for the advance payment, cancellations and refunds, so you can book with confidence.
These rules apply once the booking is confirmed, unless your written quote says otherwise. Days are counted back from the trip start date. The day we receive your written request is the cancellation date.
Payment
- A 20% advance confirms the booking. It is used for permits and reservations. Please pay it within one week of the reservation. To make everything smoother, please book the trip at least one month before the trip start date.
- The remaining 80% is paid 7 days before the trip begins.
- If an emergency stops you from reaching Nepal, the amount already paid can be held in your name for a later departure of the same trip. This is only for an exceptional case.
If you cancel
- 21 days or more: 80% of the trip price is refunded. 20% is kept.
- 7 to 20 days: 50% is kept and 50% is refunded.
- Under 7 days, or no notice: No refund. The same applies if you do not arrive, or if you cancel after the trip has started.
If we cannot run the trip
We cancel only when the trip cannot go ahead for an unavoidable reason, such as a natural calamity, strike, lockdown, or dangerous weather. Amounts you have paid to us are refunded in full.
Unused services
Leaving early, or unused hotels, meals and transport, are not refunded. Fees already paid to the authorities are not refundable.
How to cancel
Send a written request from your booked account, with a clear and truthful reason. Refunds go back by bank transfer and can take 7–15 business days after we confirm. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
