About this Treks

The Route

This is the Langtang valley with extra days toward Langshisha Kharka, instead of turning around at Kyanjin. The way in is the same drive to Syabrubesi.

What You’ll See

You go farther in, past Langtang Lirung, out to an open moraine. There are fewer roofs than at Kyanjin.

Day by Day

Plan on eleven to thirteen days. The added night is simpler than the teahouse at Kyanjin, and a day runs longer than on the standard week.

People & Places

As far as the pastures, the valley is Tamang land. Teahouses thin out. The national park permit and a licensed guide are the same.

Why This Trip

When a week in Langtang is too short, and you want the head of the valley rather than the viewpoint above Kyanjin, add the Langshisha days.
